Summer learning

I decided to try to "teach" Lily Belle this summer through arts and crafts and experiences. I will say that this requires days where my patience level is at an all time high. I wait until Evie is down for a nap and then I come up with a craft for the "Letter of the week." We don't solely focus on one letter all week but we do the letter craft and try to come up with words that start with that letter. I then try to do an activity with that letter. 

To be honest, I don't plan ahead. I should! But most of what we've done I've come up with on the fly or by looking at pinterest two minutes before getting the craft box out. So far, so good though.

Starting Over

As most of you probably know I had a blog for years. But, I felt weighed down with the past - the struggles, the differences, the opinions and I felt the need to shed that. I want this blog to be a lot of things and in truth, I have no idea what will come of it, if anything. But my goal is to be positive. To be kind to myself. To show the happiness of this life. To share with you our days. To share recipes we've made and loved. To share pictures and updates.

I'm sure updates will be sporadic but I'm hoping to flood you with pictures of all the fun we're having together this summer!
